Weekly English speaking club

This Tuesday, as every other Tuesday, a group of people with several different nationalities in Lviv meet over a cup of coffee or tea to discuss the night’s topic, which this time was immortality.

With sparkling light, which is twisted around the tree branches in the loft of the café. The room is filled with creativity throughout art, which is exhibited around the café and makes the atmosphere homely and interesting.

The attending participants in the English speaking club fill the room to all corners. Both in physical form, where people put themselves on shovels and various chairs to make room for everyone. It is not only the physical bodies that fill the room, but also the sound waves from various discussions about the evening's telephoto, immortality spreads out in every corner of the cafe.

With different norms, cultural backgrounds, education and occupation, the discussions can take interesting turns, and as a participant, you always bring considerations with you home, which you can think of when you lie in bed just before going to sleep.

The fact that discussing the whole human being and existence makes everyone (regardless of sex, age, race, religion, etc.) able to relate to the topic and participate in the debate.

Just like last week's debate about civilizations, this week's debate about immortality had main traces, sidelines and funny objections.

I wonder if next Tuesday, will prove to offer the equally juicy exchange of attitudes. One thing is certainly certain: the Danish volunteers will once again be on the spot and hopefully will influence and be affected.
