Every month there is a new local artist who gets the opportunity to use the association's facilities in Lviv to exhibit art. It is not just a way to give civil society a political voice through art, but it also allows for reflection and wonder at the children who participate in the association's activities on a daily basis.
For daily we try to create life around the association house in the YMCA. We currently have a music school where we try to teach children about the added value of music, as well as yoga that can help create peace in a chaotic everyday life. We hope to be able to start teaching English for both children and young people in Lviv.
As the project is relatively new, it is the first time the association, YMCA Lviv, has volunteers from abroad. Follow their experiences in Ukraine here.
